The Wednesday Painting – The Death and Life of Monsieur Sebastian Melmoth: Au Théâtre du Grand Guignol (2001–2003)

This week’s painting is Paul Laffoley’s The Death and Life of Monsieur Sebastian Melmoth: Au Théâtre du Grand Guignol (2001–2003). Paul Laffoley was an American artist and architect. It is said that he spoke his first word, Constantinople, at age 6 months and that he then remained speechless until he was four years old.
