Having delved into the mesmerising universe crafted by the Strugatsky Brothers in several of their works, I recently embarked on the journey through ‘The Inhabited Island.’
The Strugatsky Brothers have a knack for creating worlds that are both bizarre and thought-provoking, and ‘The Inhabited Island’ is no exception.

As someone well-acquainted with the Strugatskys’ unique storytelling style, I was prepared for a mind-bending experience.
The plot unfolds in a way that keeps readers on their toes, and I found myself eagerly turning the pages to unravel the mysteries of the Inhabited Island. However, as the narrative progressed, I must admit that I started to feel a bit lost towards the end. The complexity of the storyline and the abundance of philosophical undertones led to moments of confusion.
Yet, just when I thought I might be in over my head, the Strugatsky Brothers skilfully guided me through the intricate twists and turns, ultimately revealing a satisfying resolution.
‘The Inhabited Island’ is a testament to the Strugatsky Brothers’ ability to push the boundaries of conventional science fiction.
