Fruit, Feet, and Faces: A New Drawing

This new drawing feels like a wild mixture of playfulness and strangeness. At its centre sits a huge blue foot, filling the space like an oversized stamp. Some of the smaller details reveal themselves slowly. A red hand raises a wave. Mask-like heads stare with wide, alien eyes. It’s colourful, funny, slightly unnerving. Exactly how I want it to be. This piece is ink, acrylic, and coloured pencil on A5 card. Continue reading Fruit, Feet, and Faces: A New Drawing

New Artwork: Fresh From the Studio (ok, office table)

I’ve just finished a new piece, and I’m excited to share it with you. This work brings together ink, acrylic and coloured pencil on paper, exploring themes of colour. One of the things I love most about creating new work is the way each piece seems to arrive with its own personality. This one feels playful. Here’s a look at it: The original is now available on Etsy. 👉 OddLittleDrawings.etsy.com Thank you for continuing to support my art. Sharing new pieces with you makes the process feel complete. Tiny Worlds: A New Miniature Painting

I’ve just finished a new original painting—and it might be small, but it holds a whole world. This piece is acrylic on wood, framed in a freestanding wooden frame that I painted by hand. The frame itself is just 3.6 x 4.5 cm, making the entire artwork delightfully miniature. The painting is permanently fixed into the frame, and I’ve signed the back. I love working on this scale. You can find the piece now on both Etsy and eBay. Continue reading Tiny Worlds: A New Miniature Painting

New Artwork: Cat Garden in Neon Dreams

Here’s one of my newest pieces — Cat Garden in Neon Dreams. It’s ink on card, full of vivid colours, swirling patterns, plants, and curious cats. I love creating these bright, intricate worlds where plants and animals fill every inch of the space. This one was so fun to make — I just let the colours take over and didn’t plan it out too much. I think it’s one of my most playful pieces yet. It’s now available to buy. Take a closer look in my shop — and let me know what you think! Continue reading New Artwork: Cat Garden in Neon Dreams

A Room That Watches Back

I didn’t plan this drawing.I just started with a shape, then a face, then a window — and suddenly I was building a room that didn’t feel empty. A figure appeared, and the floor started watching them.Someone had been crying. Maybe the watcher, maybe someone off the page. I’m not sure. This is one of those pieces where I don’t know what it means yet.But it feels finished. And it feels true. It’s called Watcher in the Room. It’s in my shop now.
