5 Hours of Photography. 4: Erik Johansson
His images are fun and cheerful. Being commercial, looking at his work is like looking at adverts, but adverts we don’t mind so much 🙂
5 Hours of Photography. 3: Denise Bellon
For the third hour of 5 Hours of Photography, we’ll be looking at Denise Bellon, mother of experimental film maker Chris Marker. She was a photojournalist in Paris in the 1930s and also worked closely with surrealists such as Andre Breton.
5 Hours of Photography. 2: Lee Miller
Welcome back for the second hour of 5 Hours of Photography, where we’ll be looking at American artist Lee (Elizabeth) Miller (1907-77). I have to say, war photography is really not my thing, but I love Miller’s work.
5 Hours of Photography. 1: Hans Bellmer
Let’s have five consecutive hours of photographers! For the first hour we’ll be looking at Hans Bellmer.
